The blog, which is hosted on the Houston Chronicle Web site but written independently of the newspaper, features posts by Baker Institute scholars and fellows on diverse topics, including current events, institute news and research.The blog complements the other social media initiatives the institute is using to reach and engage the public, media and policymakers. The Baker Institute recently incorporated the social networking sites Facebook and Twitter into its internal and external communications.Also new is an e-mail newsletter that offers a snapshot of the institute’s events, research reports and news.
