first_imgSource = ETB Travel News: Lewis Wiseman Collette growing fast in AustraliaThe international travel company Collette, opened its doors in Australia earlier this year and already it has seen dramatic growth.Collette chief executive officer Dan Sullivan, said Australians have truly embraced Collette.“In the time we have been in operation in Australia we have doubled in size, forcing us to move to a bigger office and hire more staff, Australians have embraced Collette, and it’s great,” Mr Sullivan said.This growth seems to be the same for Collette in all four of its countries of operation, as Mr Sullivan says across the board there has been 12 per cent growth year on year.“Collette has been in operation for 97 years now, and for as long as I can remember, there has been constant growth, recently it’s been around 12 per cent year on year.”Collette is always trying to release new products and offerings, just last week the tour company released its chauffeur service in Australia, which is already a success in the UK and America.“Our chauffeur service is a fantastic, unique product. Currently we service 96 airports with our chauffeurs and it has been a big success. We are excited to see where it can take us in Australia,” Mr Sullivan said.Along with the new chauffeur service, Collette currently have approximately 170 tours available for guests in all of its countries of operation.Collette has a philosophy to offer more than just a tour to a destination, they really want to immerse their customers into each destination and provide high quality four star trips.“It’s more than just organizing tours at Collette, we want our customers to experience all there is to experience in each of our destinations, we aim to sell the whole experience rather than just a tour.”As President and CEO, Dan Sullivan has developed Collette from just a regional tour operator to one of the most respected tour companies worldwide.
