Homeless man drugging dogs in park to sell them on police warn

She tweeted a warning to London dog walkers, writing: “I have been given info re: a homeless man in the park stealing dogs, he is being paid £200-300 per dog…. Pc Sharon Page said she and her colleagues were in the process of investigating the reported thefts in the park, adding that small dogs were particularly at risk. However, wealthy residents using Green Park to walk their dogs have been told by police to be on the look-out for a thief, who reportedly drugs pedigree pets and hides them under his coat in order to sell them on. In one of London’s most prestigious parks, streets away from the hustle and bustle of Mayfair, it would be impossible to think that a notorious dognapper was at large.
